Courtney brings a practical, problem-solving oriented approach to her work while approaching each client from a mind-body, intuition-centered perspective. She strives to create a therapeutic environment that upholds professional and personal integrity, honesty, compassion and non-judgment at all times. Courtney’s primary goal through her therapeutic work is to form a professional partnership with her clients that allows them to take an active role in the treatment process. Within this goal, Courtney aims to offer her clients hope that they can achieve their goals through proper nutrition and Chinese medicine and instill in them confidence to take control of their own health and healing through lifestyle change.

Courtney is a graduate of East West Healing Arts Institute in Madison, Wisconsin and also holds a Master’s Degree in Japan Studies from the University of Washington. Courtney has studied zenki soho shiatsu with Michael DeAgro and is also a Nutrition Therapy Practitioner through the Nutrition Therapy Association. Courtney originally worked as a Geological Engineer and later as a Foreign Affairs Analyst. Courtney lived, worked, and studied in Tokyo, Japan for 3-1/2 years, is fluent in Japanese, and is well-versed in Japanese culture and traditions.
